The world is facing a challenge of great magnitude with the outbreak and spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). It is our desire to strike a balance between healthy precaution and continuing to spread the joy that our animals bring to so many.
At Alligator Attraction Wildlife Learning Center, we are dedicated to the health and well-being of our visitors, staff, and animals while also supporting local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus. With that in mind, we will continue to monitor the environment and make decisions based on the latest information and guided by Our Mission and Values.
I wanted to personally reach out to you and provide an update on the actions that Alligator Attraction is taking to help prevent the spread of the virus and support the health and well-being of those associated with our wildlife learning center and our communities.
Over the last few weeks, we have been monitoring the situation closely and implemented a series of precautionary steps including increased vigilance as well as enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures for our attraction beyond our existing, already stringent practices.
We appreciate your understanding that, as a visitor, your experience may look different as we
navigate through this time together. The safety and health of our guests, employees, and animals are extremely important to us.
While Alligator Attraction will be maintaining normal business hours for the foreseeable future, we will be implementing additional protocols to ensure the safest animal interactions possible. This will include temperature readings for guests interacting with Sid the sloth and may encompass other preventative measures. In order to protect all involved, we reserve the right to refuse guest admission if there are obvious signs of illness.
Please know our actions and decisions will be shaped by evolving CDC guidelines as well as those of other government agencies.
Again, we are so privileged to serve you and our community and look forward to seeing you soon.
